Function Space Hire at the Commercial Hotel
The Commercial Hotel hires out all function spaces at no charge to our guests.
Conditions: A room hire charge of $150 applies to the Dan Frogan Function Room when there is no catering required for events such as business meetings and conferences. This charge includes tea and coffee, biscuits and use of electrical equipment and whiteboard.

The Dan Frogan Function Room and Front Courtyard
Our largest indoor private function room facility can seat up to 100 people or host a maximum of 200 for a more cocktail style event.
With private bathrooms, bar, an outdoor heated courtyard, dance floor and state of the art technology and sound system – don’t look past this room for your special occasion!
Perfect alternatively for corporate events and meetings, we have projection and presentation facilities suitable for all businesses.
This outdoor, under cover and heated area is perfect for smaller groups starting at 15 people right up to 60. Great for casual occasions, this space creates the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests and is ideal for those wishing to use the finger food catering option.
With a close proximity to the beer garden bar, it also allows guests to be right amongst all sporting action as it’s located next to the big screen TV.
With use of the stage, there is no hassle if you wish to provide entertainment for guests in the way or bands of acoustic acts!
Our largest outdoor space, this area is perfect for larger groups of up to 70 people to sit down and have meals. Select of our alternate drop, gourmet BBQ or al carte menus to cater for your guests.

With space to move around, it is the perfect atmosphere for smaller groups such as after work drinks.
Our restaurant takes bookings for groups of all sizes. With bifold glass doors that open straight through to the beer garden, our restaurant is the ideal spot to be in summer to take in all the glorious weather and sunshine.
Absolutely ideal for families with kids, make small reservations for a quick dinner or lunch or alternatively book the whole space for up to 30 guests for bigger groups- a great solution to accommodate to everyone after events such as christenings.
If you are after a private outdoor area then this space is perfect for you! Located at the front of the hotel, this courtyard area is the hidden gem of the hotel.
